Doug Baker ’22 is one of the 2023 Forman Summer Program Counselors. Doug says he wanted to become a counselor to share his Forman experience with new students. 

“I wanted to be a Forman Summer Program counselor because of how much Forman impacted me as a student and a person,” he says. “I wanted to give people the same incredible experience that I had when I was a student here.” 

Doug attends Elon University with a major in Global Relations and a minor in Music Production. He says he felt prepared for college after attending Forman. 

“Forman prepared me for college by teaching me self-advocacy and by helping me achieve a level of academic confidence,” he shares. 

“Forman was an extremely life-changing experience for me,” Doug adds. “Since I arrived freshman year, I have thrived here, and it has helped shape me into the person I have wanted to be and has solidified that for the future.”
