Forman School Community Gives Back, Celebrates Generosity

November 27, 2025

This Thanksgiving, we celebrated the incredible generosity of our community. Recently, Forman students and colleagues came together to collect items for the Friendly Hands Food Bank as the organization prepared to open a new, larger facility to better serve local needs.

Scott Brady ’84, History and Social Sciences Teacher, worked alongside Mathematics Teacher Jennifer Duncan and American Sign Language Teacher Brooke Crossman to organize the food drive. Scott shares Forman’s inspiring results in this video.

Beyond this initiative, our students made a meaningful difference in countless ways this fall—from crafting decorations and appetizers for the annual fundraiser for Charlotte Hungerford Hospital’s Pink Rose Fund and volunteering at the event, to hosting a Forman clothes and uniform sale to support ovarian cancer awareness, helping at local PTO events, walking faculty dogs on campus, and preparing a community garden for winter. These acts of service reflect our community’s dedication to giving back and spreading kindness.

Together, we celebrate gratitude, community, and the joy of giving.
